Pros: A great lens at a reasonable price. I wanted to get a lens with a little better reach on both ends than my 70 to 200 F/2,8 and am pleased with this new addition.

Light, wide range, suitable for travel

Pros: Light weight, low price when compared with S series lens, reasonable sharpness, most suitable for travel and walking around with.
Cons: While the edge sharpness is ok, the pictures seem to lack good gradations. In unfavorable lighting conditions, it seems to be not doing well.
Other Comments: At a comparably low price for that range, with its light weight, it seems to be a good lens to travel with. One has to be psychologically prepared for slightly lower picture quality.
