Technical Pro
RX37URI Professional Receiver with USB & SD Card Inputs
(TPRX35U)
Pros: Highly Compatible
Cons:
Other Comments: Technical Pro has dooped the naive purchaser on this one. I didn't excpect "THE WORLD" of this inexpensive buy, but rating it at 800 Watts is mere blasphemy. The receiver is extrememly touchy so you can't find a good signal even with an antennae. I DID like the fact that you can connect via USB2.0 and SD card in addition to the plentiful inputs AND out put from the rear. I drove a Pyle PHSA5 speaker system with this and none of my components sounded impresive through this so-called amp of a receiver. After hooking everything to my MUCH older Technics SU-V2 amp, I saw that the flaw was defintely in the Technical Pro.
The weight is a giveaway that the ampage can't come from such a light unit and the look is definitely not of high quality. I actually spent less on a Sherwood 5405 receiver, afterward, that is true to it's Watt rating and at 350W I LOVE what I hear with everything I hook to it.
All in all I wouldn't advise the purchase of this unless you just want easy acces by way of USB and SD. There are far superior receivers in the same price range.
