Pros: The system works great, looks great and is easy to set up. Price $100.00 less than anyone else I could find. Arrival was right on the estimate.
Cons: Only had one problem: cannot connect TV to sound bar using HDMI ARC cable and ARC ports as recommended by Vizio when Audio 1 input to sound bar is connected with RCA cable. This produces a loud hum. When either the ARC cable or the RCA cable is disconnected, hum stops. In other words, you can connect one or the other but not both simultaneously or the hum is present. Spoke with Vizio tech dept. at great length and they were unable to solve this. Wound up connecting the TV to the sound bar using the optical cable and the problem disappeared completely. No one knows why. This does not affect sound quality at all. The only difference is the HDMI connection supports up to 7.1 and the optical cable only supports up to 5.1. This is of no consequence as this system is 5.1 anyway.
