Other Comments: Spent many hours on the phone with Buydig and then Western Digital to reformat it for Mac (which is one of it's selling points, that you can do that). I have no way of knowing if the reformatting feature just did not work on my particular unit, or if it is a flaw with the product. [...] I will look for another that is made for Mac, not requiring formatting.

Other Comments: So far so good. It runs a bit noisy unlike the passport version I had. It is a bit hard to plug in the usb cable all the way and if you don't, the harddrive light is still on and it spins but the computer won't recognize it. I almost thought I got a lemon until I realize I need to push the cable in really hard. Maybe it gets easier to plug in after a few try.

Other Comments: Great to use as OS X 10.4 backup drive. The backup SW on the HDD is removable unlike the newer versions. Used Disk Utility to create OSX partition and I'm off backing up music, photos and document by dragging files to HD. Micro USB cable feels secure when attached to the HDD.
