Other Comments: It's just this simple: This drive is reliable. And it's really small. I own 2 of these palm-sized Western Digital drives and use them for backing up all my files, which includes safeguarding my work projects, storing all my photos and videos,and above all else, archiving scans of irreplacable documents (birth certificates, insurance papers, blueprints, etc). It's small enough to store in my safety deposit box at the bank. I keep one there, and have its designated mate at home. Every couple of months I switch them so if the house burns down (or flood, etc), I will never lose more than the most recent information (and what is most recent is always easiest to replace). Reliability means nothing if the drive won't fit in my safety deposit box, and small size means nothing if it isn't reliable. This drive is a winner because it has both. It's the perfect combination.

Other Comments: With WD's "Smart Drive" software, this drive has been nothing short of a nightmare. Do yourself a favor and research it heavily prior to purchasing. I've bought multiple drives from them in the past, but this will be the last time I ever buy anything from Western Digital. I bought this to hold media files on a Viewsonic VOT132. As soon as I plugged it in, the WD software killed the wireless adaptor. The only way to get it working again was to completely restore the OS.
