WD TV Live Streaming Media Player, Wi-Fi, Full-HD 1080p, DLNA
(WDBHG70000NBK)
Pros: Compact, ALL-IN-ONE, Versatile, Plays anything
Cons: Buggy firmware
Other Comments: Ive owned the first two generations and this one is the best because it can stream Netflix in 1080p, unlike its predecessors.
Its only downfall is it still has some annoying firmware bugs that the previous generation didn't. I'm sure it will be updated sooner than later, which is why I would still recommend it above any other media player.
Yes, I recommend this product

WD TV Live Streaming Media Player, Wi-Fi, Full-HD 1080p, DLNA
(WDBHG70000NBK)
Pros: Beats AppleTV and Android, Great WIFI reception, WIFI built-in no dongle, Excellent, Streams HD on non GB LAN, With room to be better, Plays MKV embedded subs, Beats any SMART TV, Recognizes all subtitles, Embedded subs or external, Turns any TV into smart, Reads ANYTHING, Plays second audio tracks, Great Netflix connection, Great YOUTUBE app
Cons: Facebook app stinks
Other Comments: I have a Samsung Smart TV, Sony smart TV, and tested Android TV and Apple TV. None of these devices are even close to be as good as the WDTV. The interface is easy and intutive, requires no special configurations to see all devices in network (against other devices that are a PAIN [*]), reads ANY KIND OF VIDEO FILE in network or thru USB, with OUTSTANDING QUALITY. There is absolutely no loss of quality on 1080 streaming (MKV, AVI, MTS, MP4.....ALL FORMATS). Have not tested a single format that did not work.If in doubt, stop doubting, BUY THIS ONE.And the best, this is the ONLY BRAND that LISTENS to what people post in the support forums, and fix any possible bugs constantly, based on what the customers want or need.
Yes, I recommend this product

Other Comments: Works great! This is a good product. The only thing I'm not happy with is the overall menu panel resolution. It is hard to read/see on my older NTSC TV screen. The text is too small to read and not clear or sharp enough. It probably would be fine on a HDTV. Happily satisfied so far with this purchase though.
