I don't believe in cleaning your lenses ofter, but every once in a while, you can give it a nice wipe down. This pen makes the task easy and efficient. Just be sure to remove any fine debris from the lens prior to using the pen. If you're not careful, using a pen such as this prior to removing debris with a brush may cause micro scratches.
