I handed down my Nikon D70 to my adult son after getting my D7100, but kept my Nikon flash. I bought this one to go with the camera since he is a beginner. I thought I should give it a workout first and soon realized that the flash unit was a good purchase. May not be a Nikon, but at this price point, it deserves 5 stars from me.
