Review submitted for Zoom Wireless-N Desktop Router for 3G USB Modems (ZO45010000F)
Pros:
Cons:
Other Comments: Worked great. If still in a 3G area and using the new 3G/4G modem had to adjust the modem settings to only look for 3G. A short conversation with tech support solved this and it has been working flawlessly so far.

Review submitted for Zoom Wireless-N Desktop Router for 3G USB Modems (ZO45010000F)
Pros: Compatibility, Speed, Easy setup
Cons: None that I can think of
Other Comments: Product arrived and worked immediately after I plugged it in. As simple as inserting the Verizon USB 3G modem, turning on the router and instant wi-fi for my house. I live out in the boonies and this was the only reasonable option for high speed service.

4 out of 5 stars   Know your INT Network options!

Review submitted for Zoom Wireless-N Desktop Router for 3G USB Modems (ZO45010000F)
Pros: Easy connect, ZOOM Good Qality, Utilizes Ethernet, Works well with Zoom WiFi, Nice Display Size Lights, Affordable
Cons: Needs a I-Band Graph, Needs a better browser, Could use a 12V car adap, Has no EXtra LAN Ports, Could use a power button, No 3G Disconnect switch
Other Comments: CASEFLYER, THIS IS WHAT I DID; POSTED ON 10-20-2010 DESKTOP APPLICATION IN HOME NETWORK EXAMPLE: I hooked up the USB modem at the end of a 4Ft-USB Cable to raise/position the modem,(inside my room for better signal). Connect the USB MODEM to the IN/PUT of DUAL PORT USB switch .(Do not use USB extension adapter cable longer then 4Ft).You will need a DUAL-PORT USB, Printer/Monitor Switch. Then I hooked the CAT5-LAN cable from the modem to the Motherboard Ether-Net CAT5. Then I hooked the USB Modem Out to a DUAL USB A/B Switch port,(A)IN. You will need 2, (2ft' USB Male to Male USB Adapter Cables). Hence; Try to keep all cables as short as possible as to not weaken signals.USB Position IN/OUT(A)on the back of the USB switch goes to the Modem USB(OUT)port, and USB position IN/OUT(B)on the back of the USB switch goes to USB IN/PUT port,(preferably fire-wire USB HUB),to the motherboard USB Port. Now when I flip the USB-SWITCH from (A)to(B),It lets me SHUT OFF the 3G Mode on the Router, (since the Router has no(on/off)switch), it will no longer get a USB MODEM Signal. Now when I'm on position(B,)I can still Get Internet by connecting the USB Modem to the WANN MINI-PORT connection in the USB MODEM Browser to check manufacturer stats and do automatic up-dates straight from the manufacturer as it was originally intended to be used. This beats switching USB Cables all the time. Now,if I want to go back to (A) Ether-Net, I switch the USB switch back to (A), automatically turning on 3G MODEM Signal again, and surf much smoother and faster utilizing Cat5 Ether-Net on the back of the motherboard. I utilized this method of USB modem Internet because it was necessary for me to use Ethernet and Still get automatic Manufacturer Statistics on the USB Modem. Plus I think it's pretty cool to be able to switch preferences like that. Also I advise a I-Band Desktop Window Meeter that lets you switch between modem programs for actual signal strength. 10/4 Thanx from Caseflyer. A surveillance website, [@]
