APC P11VNT3 3020J 11-outlet Performance SurgeArrest Surge Protector
Part of APC's performance series; the P11VNT3 surge protector keeps equipment safe by dispersing excess voltage away from power and data lines. The unit features an IEEE let-through rating of 40 volts to protect from unexpected increases in voltage due to lightning; wiring faults; or utility problems that can damage your valuable electronics. This professional-grade surge protector has 11 outlets as well as inputs for a coaxial cable; network line; and phone line/DSL splitter.
Top IEEE Voltage Let-Through Rating
This unit's IEEE rating of 40 volts means that no more than 40 volts of electricity will ever reach your equipment. The rating indicates that less additional voltage may strain your system and impede performance before the surge protector intervenes to divert the excess voltage.
Power and Data Line Surge Protection
This surge protector has 11 outlets; 6 of which are specially spaced for bulky box plugs. Sliding covers protect outlets from dust when they're not being used. In addition; there are two RJ-11 telephone/DSL connections; an RJ-45 network line connection; and a coaxial connection to protect from power surges any device that uses a standard cable TV input; such as a cable modem; cable box; DSS receiver; A/B switch; splitter or VCR.
Rotating 8-Foot Power Cord
The P11VNT3 comes with an 8-foot power cord; which rotates 180 degrees where it joins the surge protector to give you flexibility with your home or office setup. The surge protector can also be mounted to the wall. Cord management straps can be used with either arrangement to reduce clutter in your workspace.
Wiring Fault LED Indicators
One LED indicator notifies you of potentially dangerous wiring faults in your building's circuit. Another notifies you if the surge protector's protection capacity has been compromised.
