The ESD 7100 is an affordable radar/laser detector with reliable and proven performance. This 9-band unit detects all radar frequencies and laser signals currently used in United States and Canada. It comes with the UltraBright Data Display and much more.
Nine-Band Protection
The ESD 7100 provides detection and separate alerts for radar signals (X, K and Ka bands, with signal strength indicated), laser, VG-2, and detector-detector signals.
LaserEye Technology
Cobra's LaserEye provides 360-degree detection of laser signals.
VG-2 Undetectable
Provides complete immunity to VG-2 radar detector-detectors, making your device "invisible" but still alerting you to their use.
Instant-On Ready
Detects radar guns with "instant-on" (very fast) speed monitoring capabilities, thanks to ultra-sensitive K-band detection.
Tone Alerts
A distinctly different Alert tone is used for each type of signal detected (including separate tones for each laser signal). For X, K and Ka bandradar signals, the tones will repeat faster as you approach the signal source. The repeat rate of the tones gives you useful information about the signal detected.
UltraBright Data Display
Provides easy recognition of band detected by use of band identification icons.
City/Highway Modes
Allows the user to select operating mode, reducing the frequency of falsing in densely polulated urban areas.
Safety Alert
Warns drivers of the presence and/or approaching emergency vehicles, railroad crossing, and road hazard locations equipped with Cobra's exclusive Safety Alert transmitters.
Manual Mute Or Auto Mute
Set the Auto Mute function to automatically mute alert tones after initial warning, to avoid annoyance.
Simple Mounting
The ESD 7100 mounts easily on your windshield or dashboard with the included suction mount, and is powered via your vehicle's cigarette lighter adapter.
