Make permanent DVD copies of video stored on the hard drive at speeds up to a blazing 64X - that's about 56 seconds for each hour of content! Keeping track of all those programs would be difficult if it weren't for Panasonic's enhanced Direct Navigator. This worthwhile feature displays thumbnail images of every program stored on your discs and hard drive, making it easy to locate a specific movie or show.

The DMR-E500HS adds some great capabilities for digital camera and camcorder owners, too. Front-panel PC card and SD card slots let you view JPEG digital photos and MPEG4 video clips on your TV screen, and easily store them to the hard drive or DVD-RAM discs.
