The new Toshiba 52HM95 rear projection TV incorporates advanced design and technologies to further enhance the home theater experience. Starting with the new TALEN light engine, enhanced with DEEP Picture (Digitally Enhanced Engine Performance) technology creating sharper more vibrant images.
It not only delivers an extraordinary picture, but is equipped with built-in reception capability for both over-the-air and cable HD programming (for digital cable reception, you'll need to get a CableCARD from your local service provider.) The 52HM95 uses the new Radiance 150 Hi-Bright Lamp for noticeably brighter images. The lamp's unique Instant Restart feature allows the TV to be turned on immediately after shutdown, unlike other lamp-based models. It also employs the TheaterFine DFP Screen technology with Anti-Glare Coating that results in increased detail and noticeably deeper blacks.

SRS WOW - SRS WOW technology takes the performance of the television's existing speakers to a whole new level, offering superior sound quality with no additional peakers required, SRS WOW consists of three separate sound expanding systems, which work together to extract "buried" highs and lows. The three systems are, SRS 3D, TruBass, and FOCUS. SRS 3D creates a three dimensional sound field from just two speakers, thus giving the listener the feeling of hearing a multi speaker surround sound system. TruBass produces a powerful, yet low, frequency sound by utilizing a process called psychoacoustics. From only two small speakers, TruBass will give the effect of an expensive sub bass woofer that will leave the listener amazed by the quality of the sound.
