HDLink is the world's most advanced full HDTV resolution monitoring converter for DVI computer monitors. Only HDLink includes professional features such as HD-SDI 4:4:4 quality, audio monitoring outputs, lookup tables and USB software for configuring on Mac OS X and Windows platforms. HDLink is the perfect true HDTV monitoring solution.

Full Resolution HDTV Monitoring
HDLink connects SDI video directly to any supported DVI-D LCD computer monitor for incredible true HDTV resolution
video monitoring. With every individual pixel in the HD-SDI video standard mapped digitally onto the pixels of a 1920 x 1200 resolution LCD display, you get a perfect digital-to-screen pixel for pixel HDTV display. There?s simply no higher resolution HDTV monitoring possible!

Connect DVI or HDMI Displays
HDLink supports all DVI-D computer displays and features HDMI video support via an included adaptor. Connect any 23 inch
1920 x 1200 (16:10) resolution DVI-D display for 1080 HDTV formats, or a 1280 x 800 display for 720p HDTV formats. Connect HDMI televisions and projectors for cinema style monitoring.

World's Highest Quality
HDLink is the world?s first full HDTV resolution 4:4:4 digital monitoring solution that supports both standard definition SDI, HD-SDI and new dual link HD-SDI 4:4:4. Dual link HD-SDI 4:4:4 is the newest television standard using two HD-SDI video cables for twice the color resolution as supported on the Sony HDCAM SR broadcast tape deck.

Custom Lookup Tables
For matching LCD display colorimetry, independent 10 bit RGB gamma tables are
fully adjustable via a high speed USB 2.0 host computer connection on Mac OS X or Windows XP. Customizable gamma tables also allow film industry log video to be converted to linear for monitoring when used for feature film work, or for color calibrating monitors. Preset tables for Panasonic, Thompson Viper and Panavision Genesis cameras are included, great for on-set video assist monitoring.

Standard Definition or HDTV
HDLink supports all SDI based formats from standard definition NTSC/PAL to HDTV 1080 and 720 when used with DVI displays. HDLink's video input auto switches between SD-SDI, HD-SDI 4:2:2 and HD-SDI 4:4:4 video formats, so you'll get the best image quality possible with format compatibility guaranteed years into the future.

Incredible Audio Monitoring
Built in monitoring audio outputs are de-embedded from the SDI video input and then converted to analog RCA outputs at an incredible 24 bit. Connect to standard HiFi systems for the perfect audio monitoring solution. If the connected display requires pull-down processing then HDLink will automatically apply a variable audio delay to match, for perfect audio to video sync.

Display Requirements
Interface DVI-D digital type connection to LCD computer monitor or HDMI Type A digital type connection to HDMI display, e.g. TV or video projector.
Resolution via DVI-D 1920 x 1200 required for HD1080 video SDI formats. 1920 x 1200 recommended for 2x resize display of NTSC and PAL SDI formats.
1280 x 800 recommended for HD720 video SDI formats. Please note that few, if any, DVI-D displays support 720p50.
Resolution via HDMI The HDMI input of a display must accept either:
? 1920 x 1080 for HD1080 video SDI formats or
? 1280 x 720 for HD720 video SDI formats
Please note, that the native resolution of an HDMI display will often be less than full resolution HDTV, even if the display is rated to accept HDTV signals. This is a physical limitation of the display itself and full-resolution HDMI displays, or DVI-D displays, should be considered if pixel for pixel video is required. Please also note that only a small percentage of HDMI displays support 720p50.
