The new Rokinon Cine Lenses are made especially for DSLR video enthusiasts, videographers and cinematographers. They feature the same outstanding image quality as the standard Rokinon lens but has the added benefits of de-clicked apertures and follow focus compatibility. De-clicked apertures means that there are no hard clicks when changing apertures and the aperture can be manually set to a very specific number (like f/1.7, f/2.8). The lens has also been constructed so that it can be easily attached to follow focus systems which are widely used by videographers. HD 8mm T3.8 Ultra Wide Fisheye Cine Lens with Removable Hood

The 8mm HD FISHEYE T3.8 Lens is Rokinon's 8mm model designed primarily for videographers. Using the same high quality optics as the extremely popular 8mm F/3.5 HD Fisheye lens, this cine lens has a continual de-clicked aperture range from 3.8-22 making it optimal for shooting video. This lens is also Rokinon's latest Cine 8mm model and features HD glass and a removable hood.  On the first Cine 8mm model, RK8MV, the hood is built-in. 

The ROKINON 8mm cine lens is designed for digital SLR cameras with APS-C image sensors. For these types of cameras, it provides full-frame coverage - which means that pictures will cover the entire frame. It is also compatible with cameras that have a full-frame sensor. For cameras with full-frame sensors, the lens will produce pictures with a semi-circular image and close images will appear proportionately large for a dramatic effect. The ROKINON 8mm lens creates images with an expanded and exaggerated perspective and an extremely wide 180-degree angle of view.
