  MioMap v3 offers a smoother, clearer and more detailed display than ever before. However fast you scroll, pan, turn or zoom, the map retains the same high quality throughout. Together with the user-friendly interface and clear menus, MioMap v3 guides you to your destination quickly and with a minimum of fuss.
• Updated speed camera warnings:
  MioMap v3 conveniently displays the locations of all known speed cameras, as well as the likely sites of mobile ones. You can have both visual and audio warnings alerting you when a speed cam is in your vicinity.
• Add speed camera locations yourself:
  It's very easy to add new locations to your device when new cameras are placed. You can even synchronize your device with the MioMap database to download the latest locations, added by other users.
• Find POIs quickly and easily:
  MioMap v3 makes it fast and easy to locate a POI. If you know what you're looking for, just type in the name to get the exact location. And if you want to find something in a specific area, whether it's on the way to a destination or once you've arrived there, you can search local POIs grouped into logical, simple to navigate lists like restaurants, service stations and hotels.

Newest Tele Atlas maps
If you're traveling within the region where you bought the C520, you have a full door-to-door coverage of that region (US). To travel outside the region, you can purchase the full maps of 22 Western European countries, as well as maps of Eastern Europe. Adding those maps is incredibly easy - just pop the SD card into the slot on your C520!

You can choose between 16 different languages: Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, Flemish, French, German, Greek, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish are all available - and you can even choose the voice you prefer for audio directions.

Safety camera (speed camera) warnings; free updates for 1 year
The Mio C520 tells you the locations for fixed and possible locations of mobile traps. You can receive both visual and audio warnings. You can download new speed camera locations from the moment you register on our website (available soon). The updates are free of charge for one year from the moment of your registration. You can also indicate new speed camera locations on your device, and upload them to the database. You can even determine the direction of the speed camera.

*Safety (speed) camera alerts are only available where legal. Using speed (safety) camera alerts is forbidden in Switzerland. Mio Technology is not responsible for errors or missing speed camera locations in the database.

Get going quickly with SiRFstar III and new fast processor
The latest SiRFstar III GPS receiver picks up satellite signals faster and holds them better, and the 400Mhz processor helps you calculate your route more quickly - which means you can get on the road quicker. The highly sensitive SiRFstar III GPS chipset can receive signals from up to 20 satellites for highly accurate positioning, even in the centre of a city or the middle of the countryside.

Points Of Interest
Arranged in easy to use categories, an impressive list of POIs comes ready to access. The C520 is programmed with an extensive range of Points Of Interest (POI), arranged into easy to use categories such as restaurants, hotels, petrol stations, cash machines, parking, shops etc. In addition, you can save your favorite locations as POIs - just click on the map, add the name, and you're done! Many of the POIs now include phone numbers. So now you can find the location of a good restaurant or hotel and phone ahead to make a reservation. The C520 makes it easy to quickly look up POI's close to your current location or those situated along your chosen route.

Choose the way you want to travel
You can use the C520 outside the car as well as inside it.  It's light and very compact - and can safely be transported wherever you go. On the road, you can choose between the fastest, the shortest and the economical routes - and then you can also specify if you're driving a car, a bus, a truck, etc. You can also make sure that the toll roads or ferries are included in - or excluded from, if you prefer - your itinerary.
