I can't wait to use this camera on my next vacation to the Philippines. We will be spending most of our vacation on the beach so I bought this one. My fiancee love it the first time he saw it. Hope it will work fine under water.
LOVE it--my second FinePix camera

About Me Photo Enthusiast
I use this camera outdoors and also take it with me when I go kayaking, so it gets wet. No issues so far when it gets wet--just make sure you have the battery compartment closed and locked securely. I'll also be using it for underwater photography, and if it's anything like my previous FinePix camera it should have excellent underwater quality and capabilities. I like the 5x zoom on this camera--great for when you want up close shots of animals, plants, and insects. My only complaint is it's a little slow taking pics, but that's really about it.

Features Galore & Cheap
from Tampa, FL
I have not used this camera underwater, so the verdict is still out on how good it is. I have not dropped it yet, so we'll see how good the shock proof claim is. I live in Florida & don't travel to cold weather destinations, so I will never know how good the freeze-proof claim is.Easy to use but has a lot of features, if you want to get technical. It's a 14 megapixel image so the print quality should be good but I have not printed any pix so the verdict is still out. However, I was not blown away by the quality of the pictures. Maybe I have to get used to the camera's strengths & limitations.

great all purpose camera
from hardy, ar
Nice little affordible camera. lot of features. not so good in low light and slow. they suggest you have gasket replaced yearly by a tech. that would cost more than camera!
