The nuvi755T combined with the MapSource computer based software makes an excellent route planning tool. The unit itself is accurate and dependable. The traffic aid is handy, too, especially the "Avoid" function during a route. The MapSource software was loaded to my computer when I updated my maps via the One Time Free map update.

My only "con" is that the screen is too small, and that makes it difficult for me to read.

I'd recommend this unit.

This is my third Garmin GPS system, and frankly, I think I got a lemon this time. The system picks routes that I know to be longer (distance and time). In addition, on a recent short trip, the predicted arrival time kept fluctuating by hours, not minutes. It said I'd arrive at 4:30 at by house, but 1:14 if I went to my next door neighbor's house even though it calculated the same route to both. I assume it's a software issue, so I intent to ask for a replacement.

This is my 3rd Garmin. Love the traffic reports. Lets me avoid getting on conjested highways and allows me to choose alternative routes. Quick to acquire satellites and easier to use menu than ever.

It is a great device. The only thing is that its mounting would be better somewhere at the dashboard level (as they do at car rentals), not on the winshield.

It is my second Nuvi. The 3d display is helpful. Satellites are found relatively quickly. Would buy again.

Only one problem I have noticed. I planned a route for a trip we are taking to Arizona. The GPS took me exactly where I indicated I wanted to go. HOwever, when I checked the route against a map I found the GPS mileage was over 200 miles longer than the actual route. I plan to check this closer when I am on the actual trip next month.

a bif off on some addresses. doesnt show "new" streets in my town, but they have been there for about 8 years, but shows newer attractions. for example the new yankee stadium. who knows. cannot get the lane assist to work??? maybe depends on the highway. i dont get it. The garmin box didnt come with any tape on it. like someone could of messed with it. o well, works good i guess. as for those things i mentioned. id give it a 7 out of 10

I recieved my Garmin nuvi 755T in the mail just the day before I left for a vacation that covered 9 of these United States of America. I was able to quickly learn the basics so that I could begin my travels. My nuvi 755T saved my butt many times when going through the many urban and rural areas in states of which I have never been to previously. Regular old paper maps would have been a nightmare and would have taken me much more time and with certain hassle if I did not have my nuvi 755T. For me, it is the perfect choice.

Visually not too cluttered so easy to read. A little slow to recalibrate when you deviate from directions -- but not impossible to live with.
