I bought these headphones primarily for noise-cancelling use in air travel. I don't care for the on-ear fit of the phones, and the noise-cancelling performance was not very good. Also, the planes I flew on required the use of the 2-pin adapter, and the connection from the headphone line to the adapter was not secure, resulting in static and low audio volume and quality (flaky connection).

Noise canceling seemed very good, but the earphones pressed so hard against my ears that I had to take them off within a few minutes.

Nice, comfortable on-ear headphones. Good design and lightweight, and folds for easy compact storage. Works very well as headphone without noise canceling feature activated too, and continues to work as an audio headphone (without noise canceling) when batteries are depleted.There is some line noise (hiss) when using the noise canceling feature, but it is not a significant issue when listening to audio content. Not as quiet as some of the more expensive units, especially the over-the-ear variety, but are a great value at discounted prices.

This was purchased as a gift for my mother who likes to listen to the radio when she goes to sleep for a while. The earphones help her listen to her radio without disturbing the rest of the family.
