The most outstanding feature of this camera is its greatly enhanced movie taking functions. This camera can take low-ratio compressed VGA (640 x 480 pixels) movies at a full 30 frames per second, resulting in movies with exceptional image quality. While shooting a movie, the camera automatically adjusts focus (AF), exposure (AE) and the white balance (AWB). Moreover, you can adjust the zoom or exposure, or lock the AF or exposure while shooting the movie. Movies up to 1GB in size or 60 minutes in length, depending on the CompactFlash's capacity, can be taken.
