Terms and Conditions
The desktop computer covered by this service contract is guaranteed to operate according to manufacturer ?s specifications for a period of 3 years from the date of purchase. Mack Camera & Video Service, Inc. shall repair, service or replace same to operate properly.
This Mack Camera & Video Service Inc. service contract covers:
* Manufacturer Defects
* Impact Damage
* Sand/Grit Damage
* Accidental and Unintentional Abuse
* Mechanical Malfunctions
* Normal and Abnormal Wear and Tear
How to Register
This service contract must be purchased within 30 days from the date the equipment covered hereunder is purchased. You must register this Service Contract within thirty (30) days of purchase with Mack Camera by visiting our website at www.mackcam.com or by calling our toll free number 800-252-MACK (6225) or 973-467-2291.
How to Obtain Service
In the event that this equipment requires any repair or service please contact Tier One Warranty services at 866-545-0980.
Limitations of Coverage
This limited service contract applies only to the product specified herein. This service contract will cover one desktop computer. This plan is void if the registered product exceeds the service contract price category. Such service, repair or adjustment of the equipment is assured the registered contract holder. It does not cover units whose serial number has been altered, defaced or removed. Service contract does not extend to installation or adjustment at the user ?s location, and it does not include non original manufacturer specification RAM, AC adapters, external hard drives, all batteries, any software programs, virus removal, printers, monitors, or sensitive information data on your system and other accessories.
Mack Camera & Video Service is not responsible for software, including the operating system, third-party software, or reloading of software. (A fee will be applied for systems that require operating system restoration.) Unit must have a minimum of 90 day manufacturing warranty.
This service contract does not cover equipment which is damaged by:
* Intentional abuse, misuse or damaged beyond recognition
You may transfer ownership of this service contract to another person for a $25.00 administrative fee. Please visit www.mackcam.com for details.
Limit of Liability
Mack Camera & Video Service, Inc. will not be liable for loss of revenues or profits, inconvenience, expenses of substitute equipment, loss of use, incidental, consequential damages, loss or damage to software and digital media. If the equipment cannot be restored to manufacturer ?s specifications or is deemed by Mack Camera, in its sole discretion, to be beyond economic repair, or if the unit has been repaired 3 consecutive times for the same repair and it requires a 4th repair for the same problem, Mack may, at our discretion, replace your unit with a reconditioned model or equivalent model of like kind and quality or refund you the current market value of your covered equipment in U.S. Dollars. Any refund will be limited to the price you paid for the original product excluding taxes. If a replacement or refund is made under this contract there will no longer be coverage under this contract and all obligations are satisfied.
This service contract is not an insurance policy or a warranty. This service contact is only valid if positive identification of the unit covered hereunder is presented at the time of service along with your proof of purchase. Mack Camera & Video Service, Inc. reserves the right to terminate service contracts if invoices are not paid within terms or are fraudulently altered by the dealer or service contract holder. The laws in your state may extend your rights or modify the terms of this Service Contract. In the event of a conflict between the terms of this Service Contract and the laws of your state, the laws of your state shall be controlling.
Mack Worldwide Warranty continues to grow each day, and so does our customer base. International service is available whether you are living abroad or simply visiting. Mack affords an international customer the ability to utilize any manufacturer authorized service center to repair their unit. Just contact our International Service department for instructions, it?s that easy.
International Service Center
If you are outside the United States and need to have your equipment serviced under your Mack Worldwide Extended Warranty, please follow theses instructions for obtaining service:
1. Make sure your warranty is registered online
2. Visit http://mackcam.zendesk.com/home
3. Submit a request for repair (you will be required to verify your email address and create a login and password)
4. Attach a copy of your sales receipt and warranty card when submitting your request.
5. Your request will be assigned to an agent within 24-48 hours.
6. Stay current with the latest updates regarding your repair.
All repairs must be completed at a manufacturer authorized service center in your area.
Mack Worldwide Warranty will issue you a ticket number to obtain an estimate for the repair.
The Estimate should include a detailed description of what will be repaired, including part numbers and the reason for the repair.
YOU MUST HAVE MACK WORLDWIDE WARRANTY APPROVAL ON ESTIMATES PRIOR TO ANY WORK BEING DONE.
