Review submitted for Nikon COOLPIX S6500 16MP Digital Camera 12x Optical Zoom Wi-Fi (Red) Refurbished (NKCPS6500RRFB)
Pros: It's cheap for $65
Cons: Takes forever to boot up. And if you want to recorsd a movie quickly, first you have to wait for it to boot all the way. Then you need to push the movie record button all the way. It's really small and hard to push all the way. Then it takes for the recording to start. I've already missed half the actions by then.

Cons: photo download software is a bit sluggish. easier to use windows explorer.
Other Comments: quick delivery. I've always been satisfied with Beach's stuff over the years.

Review submitted for Nikon COOLPIX S6800 16MP, 1080P Wi-Fi Digital Camera w/ 12x Zoom - Factory Refurbished (NKCPS6800W)
Pros: I bought this to replace a lost 6300,still getting used to it but I have taken over 500 pictures with it and the improved technology of the battery really shows-took 250 pics one day and didn't make a dent in the battery. The 12x zoom works great and the pictures come out excellent.
Cons: Still trying to get used to a different menu and adjusting for light and dark.
Other Comments: For the price, you CAN'T beat it!!

5 out of 5 stars   Far more camera that I expected

Review submitted for Nikon COOLPIX S6800 16MP Digital Camera w/ 12x Zoom + Wi-Fi (Black) Refurbished (NKCPS6800KRB)
Pros: Given the Nikon S6800 is a very small, slim shirt-pocket d-cam it has a tremendous number of facets and features no doubt are common to others in the same category. But when bought "refurbished" you get that package of technology at a lower price and I found nothing that made me think it was used or repaired. You should know that the built-in memory is limited so getting a memory card at the same time is a good idea and essential if you will be recording movies. I got the 32GB Class 10 (very fast) card. Also know that the included battery will only charge in the camera. There is no included external charger so the camera is occupied while the battery is charging. You can still review your pics, transfer them to a computer and do other things but it's chained to the computer's USB port or the AC adapter/charger. So I would recommend also getting a spare battery at the same time. If you can find the external battery charger that's good but the problem of having just one battery remains. I opted for the extra battery but not for the external charger. Having two batteries is the key - for me at least.
Cons: None really. I knew I was getting the very small sensor and a lens that's not the brightest so my expectations were kept in perspective. I don't know if a user manual or CD comes with a new S6800 but my refurb unit did not come with anything. I went to the Nikon site and downloaded an 11MB, 200-some page manual. So if you are a tech-phobe the manual could be daunting. Only advice there is to get the basics down pat. Then, treat the manual like a buffet where you pick things you like and ignore things you don't have a use for or interest in.
