For my purposes, which are watching DVDS/Blue Rays and streaming, it is perfect.
JUST SHORT OF AMAZING!

I replaced my Samsung blu-ray player that worked well but the controls were more than frustrating. The Panasonic DMP-BDT220 is faster, clearer and has simple controls. The menu is easy to understand unlike the Samsung. This player also has 3-D. The only reason I don't give it five stars is that the remote control is over sensitive to touch. If you even brush it with your finger it will respond. Just a little too sensitive for my taste.
I woud buy this player again.

A very good Blu-ray for the money.
Perfect except for some streaming issues
from San Carlos, CA
The Netflix streaming sometimes hangs and has to be restarted. Otherwise does everything fine.
Everything works as advertised. But if you have to change your Netflix account you must reset the unit and start from scratch. To do this you need customer support, which by the way were great and spoke English!
Great overall value
Very easy to set up and use.Reasonably fast to load.
Good but...won't maintain net connection

I bought this unit because of the many positive reviews. But despite a 5-bar signal strength from my wireless router (a D-Link WBR-2310, which is about 10-12 feet away), this product just would not maintain the network connection. It would only successfully connect on about one in every ten tries (and believe me, the UI for entering the encryption key is NOT quick), and it would drop the connection after 15-20 minutes. I spent about 3 hours total on several tech support calls to Panasonic to no avail. I returned this unit, but I am having the same problem with my 2nd.
