I use this DMR-EZ28K - DVD Recorder by Panasonic
to record tv shows and i like the commercial skip button. The only thing i don't like is it does not have a eject button on the remote. Besides that i really like it.

This panasonic machine has worked flawlessly for me the last month I have owned it. It is so much more reliable than the sony rdr-gx 255 I purchased right before it. The sony lasted 2 hours then locked up would not function at all. So I sent it back and bought the panasonic instead. I am so glad I did this is the third panny I have owned never had a problem with any of them!. Sonys quality has gone downhill in the last few years and no I don't work for panasonic I am just happy with their recorders.
