After installing the TV, I had trouble getting DVDs to play on a DVD player attached to it. It took an hour speaking to Samsung and then an hour speaking to Sony (manufacturer of the DVD player) to straighten out the problem. Also, it would have been EXTREMELY useful to have a "Quick Start" guide. The manual, such as it was, was very difficult to follow.

Buydig was exceptional. I choose their free delivery and had it the next day. I shopped Samsung TVs for a while and I feel the back lit feature adds a lot to the clarity of the picture - best picture out there in my opinion. I bought the same model in a 55 inch in December. I am totally satisfied with this purchase and would use Buydig again.

This television has a 120Hz (240Hz) scan rate combined with a very sharp picture makes shows and movies have excellent detail and near-photo like quality. Also, the television has a very high contrast ratio so "blacks" appear truly black.

You would think that a Smart TV would come with a remote with a keyboard which is necessary to use the Computer feature. It did not. Also no lan adapter which is also necessary to use the TV with the internet feature. These are an extra $200.

I recently bought a Samsung un40c5000qf for [$]. It was only 60hz, but still had great pictures. But i kept thinking that since I already paid [$], might as well pay $150 for 120hz and Auto Motion Plus. This feature is great on gaming AND on movies too but only when set to the LOWEST setting. Auto Motion Plus basically adds Frames per second to your source. I refunded my first samsung and got this one, un40d6000rf and am HAPPY that i did. a few extra bucks for auto motion plus makes a difference. Very nice and slim design TV plus everything is easy to use and control. Great picture display, speakers are pretty good for the 40", but I am using my own external speakers. I would recommend this tv to anyone, I love Samsung.

After a lot of research on the internet about this model, I ordered it and I'm glad I did. Fast delivery and quick set up. Directions could have been more concise but I figured things out. Sound is good but not great! Picture quality is out of this world. Great TV.

Maybe we are behind the times but we are happy with the integration with other web products like Youtube, Netflix
