Pros: Cintiq delivered on time and in good shape. No problems.
Cons: One problem with setting up Cintiq driver to my mac book. I tried the disc that came with cintiq but it wouldn't read my mac system (os 10.10 Yosemite). I ask around and went online and finally emailed Wacom and they sent me a link to download the driver. The disc apparently was reading my '10.10' operating system as '10.1' and thought my computer system was too old! Not a horrible problem but definitely a brain teaser for a week or so.

Pros: It was the best thing I can say I have ever used. The price was perfect!! It was!! This was the only place I could find it at the cheapest price!! And trust me, I have looked everywhere! It w was very as definitely brand new!! The set up is very easy! And the shipping was excellent! I got it within a week. I was very surprised! Now I know where to get more wacom product! This was best for me!! Surely!!!
Cons: The packaging, it was annoying. It should have been packaged better but it arrived without problem but still. I think more padding would have sufficed. Especially for such an expensive product.
Other Comments: Wacom's contain 13 does live up to its price. I still find it expensive but it was worth it. Drawing is easier, and concentration on digital art is better. I must admit I love pencil n paper but this was just as good if not better since it saves a lot on colors and other material. It's all right in front of you. Again, I can't help but to say...I love it!! And would HIGHLY recommend it!!

Pros: There Is A Ton Of Help, Set up is easy
Cons: Needs A Fast Computer
Other Comments: The tablet is very easy to set op. There is a ton of help via Wacom, the internet and You-Tube. I started out using it with my laptop. It is an older one with limited memory. I am looking for a faster new computer with 12 gb of memory.

4 out of 5 stars   Excellent Professional Tablet
By DeuceOhNegative (Portland, OR) January 07, 2013
Review submitted for Wacom Cintiq 22HD - 22 " HD, wide-format Interactive Pen Display with Grip Pen (WCCINTIQDTK2200)
Verified Purchaser
Pros: Crisp, Precise, Professional level
Cons: Problems Setting Up, Uses A Lot Of Room
Other Comments: I purchased this tablet as an update to an older, non interactive Wacom tablet. The difference was immediately clear, and the whole interaction with the programs I use has radically shifted. Directly interacting with elements on the screen has led to a new level of refinement in the work I am producing, and continues to improve the more I use the Cintiq. From a hardware perspective, the screen is large, crisp, lightweight (relatively speaking), and gorgeous to look at. It has replaced my regular monitor full time. The various set up options allow for a lot of flexibility in your desktop set up. The stand provided is also very simple yet flexible, allowing a whole mess of different ways to set up the screen for ease of use. The downside to the stand is that it requires a lot of real estate on the desk or table, so much so that it tends to crowd out anything else, as you will need to have free space or move things if you want to alter the level or orientation of the tablet. As a step up from a non-professional to a professional level tablet, I couldn't be happier, and Wacom's quality shows through again.

5 out of 5 stars   LOVE!
By RoseNstine (Denver, Colorado) September 05, 2012
Review submitted for Wacom Cintiq 12" Interactive Pen Display With Pen (WCCINTIQ12WX)
Verified Purchaser
Pros: Good Control, Natural Feel, Lightweight, Increased Productivity, Easy to Use
Cons:
Other Comments: I love the Cintiq! This purchase was a major upgrade for me. Previously, I had the Wacom Bamboo, which I thought was excellent: small, lightweight, easy. But the Bamboo required a bit of hand eye coordination, as you were drawing on the tablet and looking at another screen to see what you were drawing. This is why I upgraded to the Cintiq. Now I can draw on the directly on the screen, which make s a huge difference! Easy to set up, easy to use, lightweight, portable, I love it!

5 out of 5 stars   Wacom Cintiq 12WX
By Drippan Design (Northern Indiana) July 12, 2012
Review submitted for Wacom Cintiq 12" Interactive Pen Display With Pen (WCCINTIQ12WX)
Verified Purchaser
Pros: Good Control, Easy to Use, Increased Productivity
Cons: Bulky
Other Comments: I use the pad to create artwork in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. It is very intuitive and easy to use once you get past the learning curve which can be a bit difficult. I am using it with MAC OS Lion and I had to install the tablet driver three times before it would work properly. I chose the smaller 12WX because of portability but with all the cables and converter box required to run it it has a bit of a headache to move from place to place. Other than those issues it has definitely increased my productivity and the most I use it the most adept I have become in using it. It is quite a joy.

Pros: Good Control, Easy to Use, Increased Productivity, Natural Feel
Cons:
Other Comments: So awesome. I'm on a imac 2010, so you'll need to buy a mini-display port to DVI-D Dual Link adaptor to connect it. Easy to set up, easier to use. I do a lot of illustration and this cuts my drawing time down tremendously. If you have the money I would suggest this to anyone beginning or advanced.

5 out of 5 stars   Bringing back the motivation.

Review submitted for Wacom CINTIQ 21UX 21 " Interactive Pen Display - Graphics Monitor with Digital Pen (WCCINTIQDTK2100)

Pros: Natural Feel, Increased Productivity, Good Control, Easy to Use
Cons: Bulky
Other Comments: I use one of the older models of this at work and couldn't go back to a mouse at home. I do photoshop for work including clipping, masking and light to heavy edits. For home I got the 21ux. I love the multi app key setups so I can use it in 3ds max for modeling, and scoot right over to photoshop to create/edit textures with specific key binds for each. It's an obvious improvement to my work flow, but it's so fun it motivates you to work, probably longer than you should, on a project.

5 out of 5 stars   Another point to Wacom
By T. Smith (Pacific Northwest) June 27, 2011
Review submitted for Wacom Cintiq 12" Interactive Pen Display With Pen (WCCINTIQ12WX)
Verified Purchaser
Pros: Natural Feel, Good Control, Good resolution, Increased Productivity, Lightweight, Easy to program keys
Cons: Four cords altogether, Converter box gets in way, Tricky to install
Other Comments: My only complaint is that Wacom advertised it as only needing one cord to go to your computer, not hinting at all that it actually take a truckload of supremely thick cords to have it up and running. So to the newcomer looking at this dazzling toy, allow me to inform you on the joys of actual use and appearance. 1. You will need one free USB port and a separate graphics card on your computer. 2. The tablet itself does not directly connect to your computer, but instead has to be plugged into the converter box that has a switch indicating whether or not you are using DVI or VGA connection on your computer. 3. That converter box also has a plug that goes into your outlet. So altogether, the converter plugs into the wall, has the outgoing USB connection, your incoming DVI or VGA cable (both are provided), and the tablet itself connected on the opposite side. To your computer, the incoming end of your USB cable will need a port, as well as the DVI or VGA cable. This makes a total of four cables, not one. Installation is a bit obnoxious, but as long you download the most recent driver from Wacom (DO NOT use the driver on the disk provided. If you do, it will not calibrate correctly no matter what you do. Only download the newest one, which uses a four-point mapping system) and follow the instructions to the letter, you should be able to avoid pulling your hair out. As far as portability goes, if you were expecting something easy to travel with like the Intuos 4, you might want to re-define the term "easy." The animations show a cartoon girl carrying the tablet like it's nothing. Well, IT may be nothing, but they neglect to mention that the need for the converter, wires, and various other cables will prove to be more challenging to carry from Point A to Point B without causing any damage. If you are a traveler, you may find it easier to have a laptop messenger bag just for the tablet and its equipment. Now, all cables aside, the product is great. I use it mostly for doing line-work, as I still prefer to use my Intuos 4 for coloring, but it does whatever you want it to do and everything you could imagine. This is highly recommended artist's tablet, and a fine Wacom product. My software: Painter 11, Paint Shop Pro 8, Paint Shop Pro Photo 12, Open Canvas 5, Photoshop CS.

5 out of 5 stars   Is angle-sensitive as well!
By Avalanche (Los Angeles, CA) April 15, 2011
Review submitted for Wacom Cintiq 12" Interactive Pen Display With Pen (WCCINTIQ12WX)

Pros: Lightweight, Easy to Use, Natural Feel, Good Control, Amazing, Increased Productivity
Cons:
Other Comments: Such an amazing product. I didn't even realize that—in addition to the (2^10=1024) pen sensitivity levels—it also responds to holding the pen at different angles! It's so awesome for doing effects with a charcoal brush, etc. Perhaps even more amazing than it even looks in real-life art.

5 out of 5 stars   Excellent product. Hefty price.
By John (Jax, FL) March 04, 2011
Review submitted for Wacom CINTIQ 21UX 21 " Interactive Pen Display - Graphics Monitor with Digital Pen (WCCINTIQDTK2100)
Verified Purchaser
Pros: Good Control, Increased Productivity, Natural Feel
Cons: Price
Other Comments: As a painter and GUI designer, this tool has vastly improved my productivity and ha given me a new freedom to express my imagination without the hindrance of disconnected eye and hand. Though this tool will not make you better at what you do it is much better than a regular tablet for improving your skills. I do echo the complaint that the placement of the touch strip can be annoying. I've accidentally scrolled through layers when I didn't mean to and had to go through a time consuming rework. The screen is amazing in it's clarity of color at sharp angles. Did not find resolution to be a big deal and I usually work dual screen with a larger and higher resolution monitor. If you are a visual media professional or want to get better and have the money this is a must buy.

5 out of 5 stars   Best purchase ever. Literally.
By Eric (Brooklyn, NY) October 11, 2010

Pros: Looks really cool, Totally awesome, Great display, Works flawlessly
Cons: Price
Other Comments: I bought my Cintiq for a short animated film I'm making. I've made several similar films in the past using a traditional tablet and I can say, after having rocked out on this thing for the past couple weeks, that the Cintiq is infinitely more awesome than anything I've used before. There's always been a learning curve with traditional graphics tablets. You have to get used to drawing with one and even then it's never quite the same as working with traditional media. This is not the case with the Cintiq. It is completely intuitive and awesome. I can't imagine that the technology has much farther to go; it's literally perfect. The display is great and, unlike previous models, there isn't a noticeable gap between where your pen contacts the surface of the display and screen where the image is projected. Overall, awesome. Totally awesome. It's really expensive, but I don't regret my purchase at all. If you have the money, the Cintiq is a great investment in your artwork.

5 out of 5 stars   Best in class but not for travel.
By AWSullivan (Louisville, KY) May 21, 2010
Review submitted for Wacom Cintiq 12" Interactive Pen Display With Pen (WCCINTIQ12WX)

Pros: Natural Feel, Increased Productivity, Good Control
Cons:
Other Comments: The Cintiq line of tablets are unparalleled. Being able to draw on the screen takes away nearly all of the awkwardness of learning to draw digitally. The unit is solid and well built but still light enough to rest comfortably on your lap. I was surprised by how much cabling is required however. I had intended to use this at coffee shops and whatnot where I often do my drawing, however the Cintiq requires a converter box that as well as a heavy AC power box like laptops have. The Cintiq is a wonderful device and it will make my digital art much better however it will have to stay at home. So just keep this in mind.
