Intuos 5 is terrific
from New York
The Intuos5 M is a great upgrade from my Intuos 3 small. I love the new features and the size. The touch pad is very intuitive and responsive with wonderful customizability. The perfect companion to Lightroom and Photoshop. I would have liked the wireless battery to have better performance (6hrs per charge), but not that big of a deal. Overall, I am very happy with the product and the service from Buydig. Easy order process and fast delivery. I've been buying from them for years and have been very happy so far. Buydig is always my first choice for my photography related items... Keep up the good work!!!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Mostly good, with a couple drawbacks
from Los Angeles, CA
Very good product, big upgrade from a very old Graphire 3. Sensitivity is awesome, look and feel is really nice. Must have if you are a heavy Photoshop user or scupting user (zbrush/mudbox). No real issues with drivers so far (Win7 64bit), except one program I have if it crashes I think it causes the Wacom driver to stop working. I have to restart the system service. I'm not sure I can blame Wacom for that since the other program is the one crashing. Biggest con... it wears through the nibs crazy fast. Starting on the intous4 they changed to a different surface to give the feel of paper, this ofcourse being rougher causes nibs to wear quickly. If you are heavy user you can expect to be replacing nibs every couple of weeks. I did adjust the pressure, but there is a point where I don't want it to be too sensitive just so I can save nibs. Luckily they are fairly cheap on ebay.Probably not a worthwhile upgrade if you already have the intous4, but any version before that its worth it.
Will buy it again

The New Canvas/Scetch Pad w/o the Mess
from Houston, TX
Just received our Wacom Intuos 5 a few weeks ago and I am excited for whats to come. The only thing that I was disappointed with was that there wasn't a paint program that came with it. But my Boyfriend purchased the top of the line Corel Painter 12, which takes our Wacom to the next level. It is easy to use. Everything that you want to do as a artist is right infront of us without the big mess. I'm very excited about the Wacom Intuos 5.
Amazing tablet with annoying touch pad
By Andrew the visual effects artist
from Redwood City, CA
I have painted one painting with this tablet so far and the pen pressure is amazing. I also have the tablet set to one screen so I use more of the tablet's drawing surface. It's huge and amazing! Well worth the money. The touchpad aspect of the tablet is pretty worthless and annoying if you accidently turn on that feature. The buttons are also very sensitive. If I lightly run my wrist over the buttons they turn on and show a diagram on the screen. I think this can be turned off since I usually just use the keyboard for shortcuts. Other than that, this is an amazing product and worth every penny.
Great tablet for a great price!

A big step up from my old wacom Bamboo
Best of the Best
I use this for work [I'm a graphic designer] as well as a drawing in a my free time. It's extremely easy to use. I like the sensitivity and how easy it was to get the lines in.Though I don't like too much how the working space on the tablet is literally the size of your screen. My hand kind of strains to get to the ends of the screens [I'm a very small, left-handed person].
