When you open the lid you will notice the removable and adjustable upper and lower cooking grids designed to allow you to cook more food on the grill and expand your cooking possibilities. the lower grid is made of heavy duty cast iron which is the best for retaining heat and adding steakhouse style sear marks to your food. The top grid is made of quality chrome plated steel. It rotates out of the way so you can access the bottom grid and it almost doubles your cooking surface. The lower grid setting allows to you to cook larger items the turkey or roasts while the top position is perfect for smaller items.
