5 out of 5 stars   Good making digital photos from 35mm
By Mike (Hazen, AR) December 17, 2012
Review submitted for Pacific Image PrimeFilm 3600u for Windows and Mac (PF3600U)
Verified Purchaser
Pros: Small and portable
Cons: none
Other Comments: So far this has been a great little investment. I have been able to scan old 35mm film and have digital photos. Not the highest resolution on the market, but it does a really good job.

4 out of 5 stars   Decent scanner for the money
By Craig James (Pensacola, Fl) November 12, 2012
Review submitted for Pacific Image PrimeFilm 3600u for Windows and Mac (PF3600U)
Verified Purchaser
Pros: Good entry level scanner
Cons: Lacks Sharpness
Other Comments: Very nice entry level scanner at a great price (~$50). No moving parts to break is a benefit. However, I feel the sharpness of the images could have been better. My Nikon Coolscan III (rated at 2700 dpi) produced much higher clarity images than this scanner at 3600 dpi. But for most peoples' uses, this scanner is very capable.
I recommend this product Yes, I recommend this product
