The charger is switchable for either two or four batteries and will accept either Nickel-Metal Hydride or Nickel Cadmium. Charging time will be reduced to half when charging two batteries. The LED indicator glows red during charging and stops glowing when charging is completed. Charger then enters trickle charge mode. Batteries can be charged for 1000 cycles
