The M. Zuiko Digital ED 14-150mm f4.0-5.6 II (35mm equivalent 28-300mm) is a new and enhanced version of this wide-angle to telephoto lens. It is now weatherproof for worry-free outdoor shooting, and has also been upgraded with an advanced lens coating for better performance in less-than-ideal lighting situations. As with all M.Zuiko Digital lenses, it is designed to maximize the performance advantages of the Micro Four Thirds System, and its light weight and compact size - 65 percent smaller and 70 percent lighter than the comparable 10x ZUIKO Digital ED 18-180mm f3.5-6.3 - enable it to fit easily in a jacket pocket.

MFT standard compatible
The 14-150mm II lens is compatible with all Micro Four Thirds System Olympus OM-D and Pen cameras, and all other current and future cameras that comply with the Micro Four Thirds System standard. When mounted on an Olympus OM-D or Pen camera, the lens is stabilized by the camera's in-body Image Stabilization system, which effectively compensates for camera movement at all focal lengths.
Silent focusing
The lens's 'MSC' or movie and still compatible inner focusing mechanism uses a light, compact, single-element unit for exceptionally fast, quiet autofocus and smooth operation whether shooting stills or high-definition (HD) video. The manual focus mechanism is designed to offer a responsive feel and precise operation.
