Pros: Acer C720P Touchscreen - love the price and the speed. There's no virus protection needed, no hidden programs or background stuff pulling ram. The machine is light, stylish, nimble, and the keyboard comfortable. The touchscreen makes me look less stupid. I was forever touching my MacBook Air, thinking it was my iPad. All my documents have been in Google for years, so that wasn't a transition. To select an area to copy, choose Ctrl+Shift+new page (center, top row.) I am very pleased.
Cons: I keep adding apps that don't really work for me, but that certainly isn't the machine's issue. If you are a teacher, you can't do PowerSchool, or PowerGrade. When downloading apps and things to support other electronics, there often is no Chrome version. My CloudPrint is a little sketchy, but the iMac running it is 8 years old, and the printer is classic.
Other Comments: If you have access to a desktop computer, this is a great, portable solution for surfing, Google Docs, research, and social media. It is a superb Sunday Surfer in bed, never getting hot. I still use the desktop for non-Chrome friendly downloads and to run my classic printer. It would be a terrific student companion. Two thumbs up!
