  Will only know how well it works during an emergency July 21, 2014 Review submitted for Midland WR-120B NOAA Emergency Weather Alert Certified Radio with Alarm Clock (White) (MLWR120B) Pros: This item will play the current weather report, but its value is really for emergencies. After a week, the unit turned on during a sunny day; I wondered why, but it apparently is a regular test. Cons: The unit will send an alert if there's an emergency within my county. I had hoped that the emergency broadcasts were more localized. Check with NOAA to see how localized the warnings are provided for your area.
