With the long holiday weekend approaching, everyone has food, relaxation, and sports on their mind. But something else families prepare to do on Thanksgiving weekend is head out to the cinema and enjoy a movie together as a family. Maybe you’d rather hunker down on the couch for some at-home entertainment on TV. We’ve put together this list of TV shows and movies you and your family can enjoy over the long Thanksgiving weekend.

Must See TV
Prepare ahead of time for these Thanksgiving-themed episodes by checking out Buydig.com’s Black Friday Pricing on Samsung and LG TV’s!

“Fuller Thanksgiving”

Fuller House (Season 2, Episode 6)- Get a dose of some ’90s nostalgia by watching the Tanner family eat their Thanksgiving meal. The whole crew is there, minus Michelle, and DJ wants to make sure everything is just right for the special occasion.

“The Turkey Who Came to Dinner”
Rugrats (Season 4, Episode 13)- The babies learn about Thanksgiving and befriend a live turkey, prompting a family feast of cereal instead of the bird.

“Thanks for the Memories” – Grey’s Anatomy (Season 2, Episode 9)- Izzie stresses over making the perfect Thanksgiving meal for everyone, while the other interns spend their Thanksgiving at the hospital. George must partake in his family’s tradition of shooting a turkey, which ends up putting one of the O’Malley’s in the hospital.

A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving
We couldn’t mention Thanksgiving films and TV without this classic. This time-honored tradition since 1973 shows Charlie’s attempt to make a Thanksgiving meal for his friends before he goes to his grandmother’s dinner.

Addams Family Values
The 1993 sequel is set at Thanksgiving and features Wednesday Addams as Pocahontas. Gomez and Morticia celebrate the arrival of a baby boy. But siblings Wednesday and Pugsley are not very happy about the new addition and try their best to eliminate the infant. When nanny Debbie Jelinsky appears to keep the kids in line, her presence leads to an unexpected twist.

Free Birds
Two turkeys from opposite sides of the tracks must put aside their differences and team up to travel back in time to change the course of history. They’re trying to get turkey off the holiday menu for good!

Grumpy Old Men
Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau are two bitter lifelong rivals who engage in ludicrous warfare over the affections of their new Wabasha, Minnesota neighborhood resident (Ann-Margret). That conflict includes an amusing Thanksgiving dinner, in which the two do their best to act like feuding immature children.

Planes, Trains and Automobile
In this mid-1980s classic, starring Steve Martin and John Candy, Neal Page is trying to get home to Chicago for Thanksgiving. His flight is rerouted to a distant city in Kansas because of a freak snowstorm. He is forced to bunk up with talkative Del Griffith. Together they must overcome the insanity of holiday travel to reach their intended destination.

Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade
This may not be a TV show or movie, but it’s well worth watching while you prepare the feast for the day. It’s the parade to end all annual parades.

There are plenty of Thanksgiving-themed TV specials, movies and shows to feast your eyes on the week of Thanksgiving.
