Here is a rundown of the limited details Canon has released on this new camera that is still in the developing stages.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What\u2019s in a Name?<br \/>\n<\/strong>Though it\u2019s only speculation at this time, the name of this new camera may say a lot. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buydig.com\/shop\/product.aspx?sku=CNEOSR3BODY&amp;utm_content=buffere52b3&amp;omid=335&amp;ref=Blog&amp;utm_source=Blog&amp;utm_medium=Social\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Canon EOS R3<\/a> that will be available from Buydig.com could possibly follow the pattern started by previous Canon models. Since the EOS R3 is a step above the R5, Canon may have a plan to develop a camera to sit in a position above the R3, named R1. Again, this is only speculation based on Canon\u2019s previous camera models. This incredible speed is due to Canon EOS R3\u2019s new back-illuminated stacked CMOS image sensor. Developed by Canon, this new back-illuminated sensor allows for high-speed read-out and low distortion. The Dual Pixel CMOS AF will be able to track eyes, heads and bodies traveling at high speeds. The stacked CMOS sensor will undoubtedly open the door to unlimited performance improvements as well.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Eyes Have It<br \/>\n<\/strong>Canon has brought back a feature from its EOS-3 and EOS-5. This new, technologically more advanced feature will allow you to use your eyes to set the focus on an object. Using this Eye Input AF, you\u2019ll be able to simply look at the viewfinder and set the focus points on still objects. This will be the answer for those sports photographers looking to upgrade. The integrated grip design and weather and dust resistant body will give you the confidence to shoot poolside, on the beach or in the snow.<\/p>\n<p>There are still many unknowns about the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buydig.com\/shop\/product.aspx?sku=CNEOSR32470F28&amp;utm_content=buffer1967d&amp;omid=335&amp;ref=Blog&amp;utm_source=Blog&amp;utm_medium=Social\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Canon EOS R3<\/a>. But what we do know is this camera is going to be unlike anything else you have seen from Canon! Because the R3 is still under development, there is not a release date set as of yet.
