So Tamron is back at it with the release of its Tamron 50-400mm F\/4.5-6.3 Di III VC VXD<\/a> lens made for Nikon Z mount cameras. This lens shows off its versatility which is perfect for a full frame mirrorless camera. With its ability to capture amazing image quality in your exposures, with a zoom range of 50-400 and a zoom ratio of 1:2, you can be certain that this lens which has a magnification ratio of 8x zoom length all the way through the maximum magnification, and a 9.8\u201d minimum focusing distance up to 400mm will serve wonderfully as an ultra-telephoto zoom lens. This lens competes with the Sony FE ultra telephoto zoom lens lineup and those from Sigma and Canon as well.<\/p>\n

Still Image Features<\/h5>\n

Tamron\u2019s advanced technology provides unrivaled resolution and picture quality in a lightweight lens, and with its extra low dispersion element vibration compensation ensures that high resolution is found to the image edges. The ergonomic and lightweight design helps you get comfortable usage of a lens with such a long focusing distance, and there is improved texture and tactile feel to the lens as well, which again makes this lens easier to use.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the zoom ratio of 1:2, you can use this lens while shooting in macro photography, so you get a great angle of view, but your subject can be zoomed in to allow for more of them in the frame all the way to the wide end of zoom range of 8x magnification. Its maximum aperture of F4.5-6.3 means you get a wide aperture lens indicated by its F-Stop number. This allows for more natural light or ambient light to hit the camera\u2019s image sensor to improve flare and ghosting which may appear in your exposure. The voice-coil extreme torque drive or VXD linear motor focus mechanism, helps you get blazing fast and accurate autofocus shots of your subject.
