The nuvi 295W with Wi-Fi is a three megapixel auto-focus camera with a dual-orientation display. Wi-Fi connectivity provides a desktop web experience with an HTML browser. Check and send e-mail - including Hotmail, Gmail, AOL, POP3 and IMAP - and view e-mail attachments - including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF?s and JPG files. Google Local Search lets you search points for interest (POIs) and see the customer ratings.
The dual-orientation screen, lets you choose the best view - landscape or portrait - to suit your needs. nuvi 295W also offers one-touch navigation from your e-mail contacts, address book and local search results. This means you don't have to write down addresses, just click and view directions to your destination. Additionally, the three megapixel camera geotags pictures, so you can create routes to the location; or you can upload it to the web to auto-locate on a map.
The nuvi 295W offers full coverage mapping for the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. The preloaded map data features nearly six million POIs, including hotels, restaurants, gas stations, ATMs and attractions. The map data is provided by NAVTEQ, a world leader in premium-quality mapping.
