The HTB-206 combines easy set-up with awesome surround sound. A powerful receiver (100 Watts x 6 channels) is the system's command center, providing Dolby Digital, DTS, and Dolby Pro Logic II decoding for intensely great surround sound, and it's perfect for reproducing your music as well. Active EQ by DSP tailors the receiver's electronics to precisely match the system's five full-range speakers (left, center, right, and two surround speakers), so all of a movie's dialogue, music, and sound effects are faithfully reproduced. The 6-1/2" subwoofer is independently powered by the receiver's 6th amplifier channel, so it delivers the slam and excitement of a powered subwoofer. A Kenwood System Remote is included.
