A removable waistpack serves in two ways: first as a traditional backpack lid, providing extra security and weather protection; and as a removable/wearable waistpack with a mesh-covered backpad, two roomy pockets and a key clip. Superior-quality technical fabrics, like ballistic nylon and Hypalon, are strategically placed at stress points to offer strength and resilience during heavy outdoor use and travel. Heavy-duty YKK splashguard zippers on the main compartment provide superior water resistance. The Pro Trekker 400 AW includes a patented All Weather AW Cover with cinch straps protects the pack from the elements. Lowepro?s exclusive adjustable-torso harness system, with the Pack Jack tool, provides a fully customized and comfortable fit. Using the tool, the wearer can shorten or lengthen the distance between shoulders and hips. A 10-point adjustment system lets you customize fit at the top of pack, shoulders, torso, sternum, waist and lumbar areas. The waistbelt is removable and adjustable and includes thick, mesh-covered padding to provide comfort and wick away moisture.
A removable, checkpoint-friendly laptop sleeve fits in a front pocket. Additional features include: four memory card pockets, removable cord management pouch, sturdy D-rings, SlipLock attachment loops, heavy-duty grab handle, compression straps on bottom, and a safety whistle.The Pro Trekker 400 AW is airline carry-on compatible.
