The new DCF HR II models feature a nitrogen-filled waterproof construction (JIS Class 6) with a full-body rubber housing. By employing a fiber reinforced polycarbonate construction, they are not only durable, but lightweight as well. They come equipped with a host of user-friendly features that facilitate handling and viewing comfort, including high-resolution phase-coated roof prisms, an inner-focus optical design for dust-proof glass elements, multi-coated optical elements, four-stop helicoid-type eyepiece rings, long eye relief, and a click-stop diopter adjuster.
