For example, you can install a special app on your smartphone and use it to access a DLNAcertified PC via a Wi-Fi router in another room. The PC works as a DLNA server where your collection of movies, photos and videos is stored. You can access, browse and view media stored on the server while in another room without having to worry about shuffling discs.

The DMP-BDT320 is equipped with a smart sensor for easily minimizing power consumption. When the sensor detects a person, it automatically switches to Quick Start mode. A speedy 0.5-second boot time makes playback a joy. Then, when you finish watching and leave the room, the sensor automatically switches the DMP-BDT320 to standby mode to reduce power usage to just 0.1 W.
