Maintenance made EASY
When it's time to replace the lamp, a message will appear onscreen. Lamp replacement and filter cleaning can be performed quickly, easily and at the same time, without uninstalling the projector, since both are accessible from the rear. Quad Filter system boasts approx. 15,000 hours cleaning cycle under typical usage, which means the filters only need to be cleaned when the lamp is changed, even in harsh conditions. Saves maintenance time and cost.
TCO and ECO
Replace lamps less frequently with a long lamp life of 3000/4000H! Sony's optical engine, BrightEra with Longer Lasting Optics provides improved optical efficiency: more light is projected onto the screen at less lamp power, requiring smaller lamps - smaller lamps are less expensive, use less electricity and produce less heat. Save energy costs! With the push of the "Eco Mode" button on projector or Remote Commander, Lamp mode saves the consumption of lamp wattage; Power Saving mode kicks in if there is no operation for 10 minutes without any signal input; Standby mode can reduce power consumption in standby. Power consumption is extremely low which is 380W on operation and 0.15W at standby (?low? mode).
