The space saving designed 23HLV85 needs very little setting space and is great for a kitchen countertop, home desktop or your bedroom nightstand. By combining a bright, clear 23" screen with a built-in DVD player, the 23HLV85 also reduces cable and remote clutter. The 23HLV85's high-resolution screen can display high-definition (HD 720p) picture (requires a separate HDTV tuner box...contact your cable or satelite provider).
The TV has a regular tuner built in for receiving standard broadcast or cable channels. An array of inputs makes it easy to expand your viewing options by plugging in a VCR, videogame console, and even a PC (so you can use the 23HLV85 as a PC monitor). With both component video and HDMI jacks, this TV won't be left behind as new video gear becomes available.
The slot-loading DVD player can also play music CDs, plus MP3 and photo CDs. The 23HLV85 is equipped with built-in stereo speakers, and can also be connected to your stereo or shelf system.
