Optical design meets digital camera performance characteristics
Tamron?s "Internal Surface Coatings"* and new multiple-layer coating technology on ordinary elements reduce ghosting and flare that happens due to reflections that can occur when light enters the lens as well as reflections caused by the imager itself. The strictest quality control standards were also applied to increase resolu-tion performance and prevent flare due to aberrations, resulting in a high-power zoom lens ideal for photography with digital SLR cameras. A 7x zoom complete with true macro capability
With this one 7x zoom lens, you can enjoy the full range of varying perspectives ? from a wide 28mm to a 200mm telephoto (43mm to 310mm* for a digital SLR camera). The lens also offers a minimum focus distance of 0.49m over the entire zoom range, and achieves a maximum magnifica-tion ratio of 1:4.
