The new Walkera QR X350 PRO Quadcopter is a second generation Quad, which has had a top down re-design from the QR X350 with a brand new flight controller the DEVO-M.
The Walkera R&D engineers have certainly been very busy developing the Walkera QR X350 PRO Quadcopter. Now fitted with a HUGE 5200mAh battery and much better aero designed props, giving flight times of up to 25mins which is more then double its predecessor. The new DEVO-M autopilot flight controller has a enhanced altitude sensor which adopts GPS technology and makes the quad far more stable with much better GPS position holding than the older version.
If you are looking for a state of the art quadcopter with hitec functions such as GPS satellite control, automated return home functions and altitude position hold then look no further than the QR X350 PRO Quadcopter. If you want to activate the awesome GPS return home function you can simply flick a switch on the transmitter and allow the onboard electronics to take control and return the quad to it's take off (home position). The QR X350 PRO will return and land by itself, as easy as that. The failsafe is very similar but engages when the radio signal is lost or interrupted. These systems are very new to the RC world and it's great to see Walkera at the forefront of this technology.
The QR X350 PRO also has the option to fit a PLUG 'N' PLAY G-2D gimbal, which can be bolted on to all versions in a matter of minutes. The gimbal is designed to fit the GOPRO HERO 3 camera or walkera's own iLOOK camera which is the same size. This enables the user to get perfectly stable images from the quad as it flys. The gimbal keeps the camera perfectly horizontal even if the quad is banking hard, this makes a huge difference in the quality of the video footage.
