With Xact's Rego, you can surf through the extensive programming variety of SIRIUS Satellite Radio, and with the touch of a button switch over to your favorite MP3 tracks. The Rego can store up to four hours of SIRIUS programming for listening at any time. This feature is great for listening while your traveling an area where the satellite signal is unavailable. You can also save up to 50 preset channels for quick access to your favorite channels.
The easy-to-read 6-line display shows you SIRIUS channel, song, and artist or program information, and displays your MP3 file names. You can browse what's playing on SIRIUS by artist name, song, or channel. The illuminated keypad makes navigating the system easy in the dark, while the remote gives you long-range control.
The Rego is ready to play in your car, right out of the box! (activation required). Its car accessories include a docking cradle (where all power and signal connections are made), a suction-cup mounting bracket, a roof-mount antenna, and a power adapter that plugs into your vehicle's power outlet.
You can play the Rego over any FM car stereo, using the built-in wireless FM transmitter to signal an unsed frequency. Or, if your stereo has an auxiliary input, you can connect the Rego directly to it using an optional audio cable.
MP3s are loaded into the Rego using a Trans Flash card. These cards are tiny storage devices (about the size of a postage stamp) often used with personal electronics; the Rego comes with a 32MB card. Xact also includes a clip-on, rechargeable battery, and a set of earphones, so you can listen to your MP3s on the go (portable SIRIUS reception requires the wearable kit; see below).
The optional home kit is required to use the the Rego with your home stereo. To use it as a personal portable SIRIUS radio, add the optional wearable kit. It includes the battery, belt clip, and antenna you'll need.
