Precision Black is a new picture quality feature representing LED local dimming. This feature locally controls the LED BLU to turn on and off based on the scene being viewed, providing better contrast and detail.

Dual Core Processor - a dual core processor is essentially two microprocessors in one. Having a dual-core processor onboard a TV means that its operating system has the freedom to manage intensive tasks in parallel, i.e. better multitasking ability.

Clear Motion Rate (CMR) is Samsung's comprehensive measure for how well an LED TV can display fast-moving images. Previously, motion clarity was expressed only by the refresh rate (Hz). CMR, however, takes into account: refresh rate, image processor speed and backlight technology.
