CURT offers three styles of cargo carriers: tray-style, basket-style and roof-mounted. While tray-style and basket-style feature a use-as-needed, hitch-mounted design, our roof rack cargo carrier adds storage space to your vehicle, while still retaining full use of both your front and rear mount hitches.

The CURT roof rack cargo carrier is strong and lightweight, providing secure storage for anything from camping gear to a spare tire. With its universal brackets, it easily mounts onto a variety of roof rack base rails.

Aerodynamic design
The front of the cargo basket features a wind shield that helps protect cargo from wind damage and keeps the vehicle more aerodynamic.

Universal mounting brackets
The brackets of the roof rack cargo carrier are designed for universal application and easily mount onto most types of roof rack base rails.

4" tall sides
The 4" high walls surrounding the cargo basket keep items more secure and provide an attachment point for cargo bag straps.

Extendable storage area
The roof rack cargo carrier can be expanded from 10 5/8 sq. ft. to 16 sq. ft. by adding the #18117 extension. This piece easily bolts into place.

Roof-mounted convenience
The CURT roof rack cargo carrier adds storage space outside your vehicle, without using up the receiver tube of your front or rear mount hitch.

Cargo carrier compatible
CURT cargo bags provide additional security for your items and protection against the elements. They are available in multiple sizes to fit CURT tray-style, basket-style and roof rack cargo carriers.

Waterproof construction
Each cargo bag is made from 500-denier, UV-resistant vinyl and has welded seams to be truly waterproof. The zip closure also features a hook-and-loop flap to keep the inside dry.

Built-in tie-down straps
CURT cargo bags are built with a number of straps with looped ends to secure the bag to the cargo carrier. These straps can also be adjusted to accommodate whatever is stored inside.

Convenient storage
Not only do CURT cargo bags provide a secure way to protect your cargo, but they are also easy to store themselves. When not in use, the vinyl bag can be folded up for compact storage.
