I bought this a couple months ago and it's a disaster. Next to impossible to start, the string head is very poorly designed. You can't get 2 strings to stay in the head so you can wind them in.

Let me start by saying that I hate this less than when I bought it about 6 months ago. Actually this is my second one, the first was returned to the since it was impossible to start (the detent that locates the exact choke position to start wasn't working). The replacement was also hard to start, cured when I bought the electric starter. I guess my main complaint now is the poor balance, perhaps they didn't consider the extra weight of the valve gear (4 stroke). I put an extra # of lead on the guard, but it didn't help.

Worst starting machine that I ever had. When you have to do 8 steps just to start it I should of know better. Then when I get it going and move the lever to the final position it stops. Then what. I am so disappointed that I gave up and used my old one.

so far so-good I have the hedge trimmer attachment, which works great. I will buy pole saw attachment next. I will never go back to a two-cycle.

I have had this trimmer for almost a year and it has been the best work horse trimmer I have ever had. We run a small Farm and I have a lot of land that I cannot get my tractors cutter up to. This trimmer has plowed through with very little trouble. I will by another one of and when this one dies.
