Tripp Lite's HDBaseT Class B (HDBaseT-Lite) HDMI over Cat5e/6/6a Extender Kit comes with both the transmitter (local) and receiver (remote) units and sends the signals over user-supplied Cat5e/6/6a cable. The BHDBT-K-PI is a cost-effective solution for digital signage applications in schools; retail locations; tradeshow booths; conference rooms and anywhere you need to extend multiple types of signals over extra-long distances.
Supports Power over Ethernet (PoE); 4K x 2K Resolutions and IR Control
This extender kit features built-in PoE technology; which powers the receiver over Cat5e/6/6a cable; eliminating the need for an external power source.
The BHDBT-K-PI extends an Ultra High Definition 3840 x 2160 (4K x 2K) signal up to 130 ft. or a 1920 x 1080 (1080p) HDMI signal @ 60 Hz up to 230 ft. With the BHDBT-K-PI; you have the flexibility to house the source devices in a secure; remote location while still delivering the signals to devices in another area.
IR control signals travel over a single Cat5e/6/6a cable along with HDMI video. This eliminates cable clutter and reduces installation costs. Two-way 39 KHz IR remote control functionality allows use of an HDMI source's remote control in the same location as a monitor connected to the receiver.

Locking HDMI ports on the transmitter and receiver units prevent disconnection when used with HDMI cables with locking connectors; such as Tripp Lite's P569-006-LOCK HDMI cables.
